School Site Council
As a Title I school, Farmdale Elementary has the opportunity to help economically disadvantaged students get the educational support they need to succeed in school The purpose of the School Site Council (SSC) is to develop a Single Plan for Student Achievement with input from all stakeholders and based on recommendations from CEAC and ELAC.
School Site Council approves use of categorical funds to expand educational opportunities for students and the budget is reviewed regularly.
School Site Council meets monthly throughout the 2011 - 2012 school year. The council consists of: the principal, teachers elected as representatives by other teachers, school staff, parents with students in the school and community members. All members have equal voting rights.

School Site Council Meetings
Scheduled meeting dates have been set for the 2nd Monday of every month. When a Monday is not available it may be scheduled on an alternate date. FYI- Additional meetings are usually schedule during the month of budget development.
Las reuniones para este concilio han sido establecidas el segundo martes de cada mes. Cuando un lunes no es disponible otro día será escogido. Para su información – reuniones adicionales a veces son necesarias durante el mes del desarrollo del presupuesto.
